Kimberly Thomsen is a 1997 graduate of Pace University School of Law.  She is a member of the Bar of the State of New York, having been admitted by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Second Department at the April1998 term of the Court.

Ms. Thomsen is also a member of the Bar of the State of Connecticut, having been admitted by the Superior Court on October 31, 1997.  For the past thirteen years (13) years, she has practiced almost exclusively in the field of matrimonial and family law.  

She has been a member of numerous bar associations, including the Westchester County Bar Association (for which she sat on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section), New York State Bar Association (for which she served on the Membership Committee of the Family Law Section), Westchester Women’s Bar Association (where she acted as a State Director and Co-Chair of the Domestic Violence Committee). 

Ms. Thomsen was also appointed by the County Executive to serve on the Westchester County Domestic Violence Council where she helps to make policy and funding recommendations for the county.  In addition, she has tried numerous matrimonial and family court cases and has lectured extensively in the areas of family law and divorce litigation.
